Synopsis

Adonis Johnson never met his father, world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, who died before he was born. However, no one can deny that boxing is in his blood, so he heads to Philadelphia, the place where the legendary fight between his father and Rocky Balboa took place. Once there, Adonis finds Rocky and asks him to be his trainer. Although he insists that he has already left that world forever, Rocky sees in Adonis the strength and determination that his bitter rival had, and that ended up becoming his best friend. Finally, he agrees to train him despite fighting his own fight against an opponent more lethal than any he faced in the ring.
