Naruto and his friends must escort Prince Michiru, his pampered heir Hikaru and his latest whim, a circus troupe, to the Country of the Moon. Beyond the southern seas, on the Island of the Crescent Moon, an eternal summer paradise, lies the Country of the Moon. Kakashi's Team 7 and Rock Lee are tasked with the mission of escorting Prince Michiru and his pampered heir Hikaru there. Over the course of the trip, Naruto and his friends find it difficult to understand Michiru and Hikaru, who do things that defy common sense, like buying an entire circus just because they like it. Upon their arrival in the Country of the Moon they discover that the country has suffered a coup d'état orchestrated by Minister Shabadaba. With the help of Team 7 and the circus troupe, Naruto and Hikaru, who despite everything have become friends, set out to rescue Michiru who has been captured by three ninjas hired by Shabadaba.
