Description

The Dark Knight Rises from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures presents the epic conclusion to director Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy. Eight years have passed since Batman disappeared into darkness, turning, in that instant, from hero into fugitive. By taking the blame for DA Harvey Dent's death, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he believes, like Commissioner Gordon, to be the greater good. The lie works for a time, as Gotham City's criminal activity is quelled thanks to the harsh Dent Law. But everything changes with the arrival of a cunning thief cat, who carries out a mysterious plan. Much more dangerous, however, is the appearance on the scene of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for the city cause Bruce to return from his self-imposed exile. But despite donning the suit again, Batman may not be enough to combat Bane.
