Hércules [DVD]

In a desperate attempt to free her people from the oppression of her vengeful husband, Queen Alcmene turns her prayers to the gods. As a result of their prayers, Hercules was born, father of Zeus, father of gods and men. Unaware of his true identity, Hercules suffers the contempt of King Amphitryon, who always favors his legitimate son, Iphicles. Young Hercules falls in love with the beautiful Hebe, although their love story is cut short when Amphitryon proclaims that it will be Iphicles who will marry the princess. Hercules tries to flee with his beloved, but is captured by the king's guard, who sends him to war. After cheating death, Hercules embarks with the warrior Sotiris on a mission to free the kingdom from the tyranny of Amphitryon, recover his beloved from the clutches of his brother and take his place in the pantheon of Greek heroes.
