Description

In this installment of the legendary Star Trek saga, directed by the creator of the "Lost" series, it tells how Captain Kirk and Spock met. Everything is ready for the maiden voyage of the most modern ship ever created: the USS Enterprise. His young crew has an important mission: find a way to stop the evil Nero (Eric Bana), who, motivated by revenge, threatens all of humanity. But the fate of the galaxy is in the hands of two young rivals who were born on different worlds. One of them, Tiberio James Kirk (Chris Pine), a thrill-seeking young man from an Iowa farm, is a born leader in search of a cause. The other, Spock (Zachary Quinto), who grew up on the planet Vulcan, is an outcast due to his half-human side, which makes him susceptible to the instability of Vulcan emotions. But Spock is also a brilliant and determined student. The USS crew is led by Captain Christopher Pike (Bruce Greenwood). Also there are the Medical Officer, Leonard "Bones" McCoy (Karl Urban); the man who will become the ship's chief engineer, Montgomery "Scotty" Scott (Simon Pegg); communications officer Uhura (Zoë Saldaña); the experienced Helmsman Sulu (John Cho) and the young 17-year-old Chekov (Anton Yelchin). Everyone faces a harrowing first rehearsal.
